The differences between the Schwinn 431 and 430 show up first in the elliptical trainers overall weight; the Schwinn 431 Elliptical Trainer tips the scales at 20 pounds heavier. The capacity of the Schwinn 431 is higher, too. It can carry a 300 pound person with ease.

Well, I’ve had this machine for about two weeks now and it works great. I am completely satisfied with this purchase. I was a little concerned about shipping, but mine came in perfect condition. Like others, it took me little under 3 hours to put it together. If you can put a screw in and follow directions, you’ll be able to put this together. The machine is so smooth and quiet. It’s no problem for others in the room to watch TV at the same time.

The machine was relatively easy to install when you think of the fact that your putting together an exercise machine. There were a lot of nuts and bolts but everything was there and accounted for. When we started to use the machine it was pretty squeaky but the bolt on the arm only needed to be loosened. Now it runs without a squeak and offers a great workout. I like how it gives you results of your total calories burned. The only thing that doesn’t work well is the fan, it might as well not even be there so don’t depend on it.
